Carpishuyacu Waterfall Tours

Located near the San José farmhouse, 35 kilometers from the city of Tarapoto. To get to the starting point of the walk, follow the IIRSA North highway that leads to Yurimaguas, which runs through part of the Cordillera Escalera Regional Conservation Area.

On the way, the abundant and varied vegetation and the beautiful Amazonian landscapes are observed.Afterwards, on the path that takes us to the waterfall, we will start a fun descent in the middle of the jungle until we reach a small river which we will cross in a little raft.

Once crossed, we arrive at our first stop, some thermal baths where you can tone your muscles and relax contemplating the incredible environment that surrounds it. Later and after walking for a few minutes we arrive at the waterfalls (due to its peculiarity it is called Pishurayacu, which in Quechua Pishura refers to the sex of the woman).

In this beautiful waterfall it is possible to take a refreshing swim and practice a little swimming.
