The Gocta Waterfall is an impressive waterfall that measures 771 meters, currently it is ranked sixteenth among the highest waterfalls in the world. Locally it is called La Chorrera.
To get to this impressive waterfall, a walk of approximately two hours is made, appreciating the beautiful landscape of the area and observing the great variety of flora existing in the place.
You can also observe a great variety of fauna such as insects, birds and especially with great luck the Gallito de las Rocas, which is considered the national bird of Peru.
Activities
Visit to the town of Cocachimba.
Hike from Cocachimba to the Gocta Waterfall of approximately 2 hours (you can rent a horse).
Observation of flora and fauna.
